A Realistic Approach to Home Organizing

I’m Catherine Belzile Gibel — a Board Certified Professional Organizer® in Naperville

with a background in clinical social work and specialized training in ADHD and brain-based conditions.

If you’ve tried to get your home in order but it never seems to stick, you’re not the problem — most organizing advice isn’t built for ADHD brains, busy households, or real life.

I’ve helped so many bright, creative people create homes that feel calmer and easier to keep up with. If you feel like you’ve “failed” at organizing, I can help you find an approach that fits how you think and function.

What it’s like to work with me

I’m calm, collaborative, and completely judgment-free. We’ll work side by side to sort, simplify, and create an easy-to-maintain setup that makes daily life feel lighter. Sessions are hands-on, and I’ll coach you through decisions so you feel confident moving forward (without pressure or perfectionism).

What makes HOMEWELL different

  • Compassionate and confidential support (you don’t need to “clean up first”)

  • ADHD-friendly and realistic approaches that work for real life (not Pinterest)

  • Strength-based organizing that works with your brain — not against it

Fun Facts

I love being creative! I paint, sing, and I’m currently teaching myself to play the piano.

I live in Naperville with my husband and son. We love to spend time outdoors but treasure low-key family weekends filled with reading, impromptu projects, and a trip to our favorite coffee shop.

Guilty purchase? I own more books than I realistically have time to read! Don’t tell Marie Kondo.

Growing up I wanted to be a florist - organize flowers in a beautiful, unique way.

I have a personal connection to setting up a home with unique needs. My husband is legally blind, so I know what it’s like to require outside-the-box approaches to organization.

I love being near water - it feels restorative and invigorating, just like organizing.

Organizing “Achilles heel”? Let’s not talk about my camera roll…

I’ve been known to quote movies out of thin air or start singing along to music during a session without realizing it. But I’m very understanding if you need quiet instead!

You might be ready for HOMEWELL if you’ve been thinking:

  • “I love a beautiful space, but Pinterest-level organizing isn’t realistic for me.”

  • “I’ve tried to get organized and it never sticks… and I’m tired of feeling like it’s my fault.”

  • “I don’t just want a quick makeover — I want a way to keep up with it.”

  • “I want my home to feel peaceful and supportive, not like a constant to-do list.”
